LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

We need reliable and responsible cat lovers for some hands on help in our sanctuary. It would require an hour once a week.

We also are looking for foster homes and help socializing kittens.

And last but not least, we need help with grant writing. If you have any experience in this area we need your expertise.

Email us at info@urbancatleague.org and put “VOLUNTEER” in subject heading.

ROSIE AND MO

Check out the Rosie & Mo diaries, a new feature on our website.  Follow the progress of two feral kittens on their path to domesticity.

Fun to read and very touching!

NORA - NEWEST ADDITION TO THE SANCTUARY

The story of Nora and her two kittens had every animal email list up in arms - a mother with kittens in a Queen's building that was about to be demolished. We quickly got to work and contacted one of our Queens colleagues who fostered Nora and made sure the kittens got great homes.

Nora is incredibly sweet but shy. She is learning to trust humans at our sanctuary and will hopefully be brave enough for an adoption soon.

FERAL KITTEN WORKSHOP

URBAN CAT LEAGUE's next Feral Kitten Socialization Workshop sponsored by the NY Feral Cat Initiative is May 20th

To date, UCL has trained hundreds of individuals from groups all over the country to bring swatting, hissing feral kittens to be confident and friendly around humans and ready for adoption.   This workshop is by pre-registration only through the NY Feral Cat Initiative.
Email:  nycfelines@gmail.com

Registration is limited so if there is the demand we'll do another one soon!`

SPRING AT THE SANCTUARY
